Each year during October, we host a virtual Halloween trick-or-treating event in the R74n Discord server. Rue Street is named after our mascot of the same name. Join the server around October 15th if you're interested in playing along!
Premise
Anyone can participate in either or both ways:
- Create a forum thread in the designated channel, representing your house, area, or stand that others will visit.
- Visit other players' threads and ask them for candy.
Candy can be anything! Simply present the trick-or-treater with text, an emoji, or an image and it will be "canonically" added to the economy. It doesn't even need to be edible!
Players are free to do what they'd like with these candies. Optionally, they can be tracked in a note or spreadsheet and traded with others. See the Candy Tracking Template on Google Sheets.
